This website has been through some things
initially having selfhosted it on my own machine
running a fedora server under a proxmox hypervisor,
and running a webserver under nginx and eventually
incorperating anubis to ward off bot traffic

However after a while of having it running on my main machine
with the same proxmox installation, and playing games with
the limitations a setup like this imposes, such as
caching issues and hyperthreading being unusable due
to the hypervisor being unaware of the topology, I
decided to not run my main desktop on it

Now with this website running on a vps on a very
similar setup although now without the threat of a ddos
and my main desktop running a bit quicker on bare metal

Currently studying Mechanical Engineering
